Who can help me.
I can't open windows live messenger . Everything was working as usual until it randomly stopped responded and I was forced to end task. After ending task it will no longer open at all, i click on the icon and nothing happens, it isn't running in the task list either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times, nothing seems to comes up. Internet is working fine, firewalls are turned off, it just doesn't seem to ever open the program to allow me to sign in.

I'm having the same problem and it's very frustrating. You can't open WLM and disable any options because the window doesn't even show up.
msnmsngr.exe shows up in the task list but nothing else happens; uninstall/reinstall unsuccessful, etc.
Does anyone have a procedure or program that will completely wipe WLM off my computer? The fact that an uninstall isn't really an uninstall is stupid, especially from an MS program.
Answer 4:
try deleting this two keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSNMessenger
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MessengerService
Then run msn it should work now.
I haven't had the oportunity to test if deleting just one of these solve the problem.
Export those chain reg to have a backup, just in case.
My msn crash when i accept to watch webcam or when someone send a voice record my system is ok, i never had problems with early versions.
Well i use msn rare times so i didn't test more =P
